Mrs. Abi Medellin
Raised in the beautiful state of Tennessee, I have always been passionate about education and the profound impact it can have on young minds. I pursued my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), where I honed my skills and deepened my commitment to fostering a love for learning in all students.
Currently, I serve as the AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted) Specialist at Coastal Elementary and Dixon Elementary. In this role, I am dedicated to advocating for gifted learners and ensuring they receive the support and challenges they need to thrive. My passion lies in creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can explore their potential, engage in meaningful learning experiences, and develop a lifelong love for knowledge.
I believe that every child has unique gifts and talents, and it is my mission to empower them to reach their fullest potential. I am excited to continue this journey of education, collaboration, and advocacy for gifted learners.
